3.     How to publish the CTA Work Package
A CTA Work Package can only be published from SPF Desktop Client (refer to Access to the SPF Desktop Client)

First, find the CTA Work Package:

Right-click the package you found, select Publish/Export, then Publish tags...

Enter the SPF log in information and click OK.

In the Owning Group* field, select OPEN TO ALL, then click OK.

The publishing process starts, displaying the publishing progress.

After the publishing process finishes, a pop up window appears displaying a message about whether the publish process was successful or not.
In case the publishing process fails, check the error message, fix the errors and try again.
If the publishing is successful, the tags are now published.

Alternatively, the publishing status can be checked by searching for the published documents with the same name as the CTA Work Package and adding a wildcard * at the end of the search value.

Check Data Load Status and Consolidate Status column.

Data Load Status and Consolidate Status columns show whether the background processes have been completed. Consolidation Status should read “Successful” before CDW reflects the published information.
The published tags can be found under CDW, MEL or Motor List. Please note that there will be a lag (a couple of minutes) before you can view the published properties or relationships under the published domains.
