Descoping Information from a Sub-system

Some information is associated to the turnover dossier through direct relationships to a sub-system while others are inferred:
·     Scope Drawings can be directly related to a sub-system in SPF, inferred by a tag of the sub-system in SPF, or both.
·     Checksheets are determined by the tags of the sub-system in SC
·     Preservation Records are determined by the tags of the sub-system in SC
·     Punchlist Items and MOC (Temporary Alteration List) are determined by their direct association to the sub-system in SC
·     All other information: Loose Items Sign Off, Final Walk Down Attendance, Vendor and Statutory Items, Construction TQs, Redlines Indices, Redlines, and NCRs are determined by their direct relationships to a sub-system in SPF.

To remove a tag from a sub-system, it is expected that it will be disassociated in both SC and SPF
·     When all tags of a Scope Drawing are disassociated from the sub-system in SPF, the Scope Drawing will be removed (on update) from the turnover dossier provided that no direct relationship exists between the scope drawing and sub-system.
·     If all tags for a checksheet chapter are disassociated from the sub-system in SC, then the chapter document will be removed (on update) from the turnover dossier.  The document is terminated.
·     As tags are disassociated from a sub-system in SC, any SPF documents for Preservation Records of the tag are terminated.
·     Punchlist Items and MOC (Temporary Alteration List) must be disassociated to the sub-system in SC for it to be removed from the turnover dossier on update. Documents are terminated. If re-associated, a new SPF Document number is generated.
·     Loose Items Sign Off, Final Walk Down Attendance, Vendor and Statutory Items, Construction TQs, Redlines Indices, Redlines, and NCRs must be disassociated from the sub-system in SPF to be removed from the turnover dossier on update.

Update Checklist for Descoped Items
To ensure that turnover dossiers accurately reflect the latest information when removing items from a sub-system ensure that the following items have been verified
1.     Have the tags been disassociated from the sub-system in both SC and SPF?
2.     Do any Scope Drawings expected to be removed from the turnover dossier have a relationship to the sub-system?  If so, the drawings should be disassociated from the sub-system.
