This page describes how to check in a document to SPF after editing.

After a document is checked in it becomes available to others for editing.

Document version number is incremented by 1 when a document is checked out, not when it is checked in.

This page assumes you have searched for and located the document you want to check in. Refer to
Search for Documents.

1. Verify document icon is blue with red mark at bottom right.
2. Verify document organization (org.). You must be a member of the same organization (org.) to which the document is assigned.
3. Open Actions menu:

Select the
Actions menu button, located left of the Doc. Number.

Actions menu opens on left side of screen.
4. Select Edit
5. Select Check In
A new window opens displaying a list of files attached to the document that are currently checked out.
6. Select the Browse button to select files to upload.
Note: You must upload ALL files that are checked out in order to check in a document.

The message
Files successfully checked in appears briefly.
