How to action a Quality Incident workflow step
1. Click the action menu from the Quality Incident or from your To Do list item
2. Click the Update command
3. Click Claim if required
4. Update required / available fields
5. Click the appropriate command to Accept/Endorse/Amend/Reject
The Quality Incident will progress to the appropriate step / recipient
Modifying a Quality Incident
Quality Incidents may need to be modified other than through the designated workflow steps. While the action items sent to your To Do list provide you with an option called Update QIR, a separate option is available to the Quality Manager, Implementer, Field Engineer, and Field Engineering Manager to perform modifications (Modify QIR Info) to specific QIR attributes even if the QIR has been closed. One example would be to allow a QIR to be related to a new construction TQ after the QIR had been closed.
