Publish Schematic Diagrams

All publishable documents within SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) are located under the Documents folder in the Electrical Index.

The steps for publishing schematic diagrams are the same as the one described under Publishing Single-Line Diagrams.

Integration Tips for Schematic Diagrams

Only classes defined under the typical schematic block type will be published with all their mapped properties.

An example of a proper typical schematic configuration is a motor schematic where the starter located in the feeder circuit must be published in SPF with all its properties according to BHP requirements.

The starter name is accessible under the motor properties which is most likely sufficient for the motor schematic; nevertheless, BHP requires some other properties of the starter to be published so the block type Starter must be added for this class to be published in SPF, although it is not needed for the drawing.
