Task 2: Adding a Review or Consolidation Response
Document responses can be added to items in bulk using the Transmittal Action Manager or by using List Edit by clicking on Show Response from the Action Menu of the Transmittal. You can also use the Action Menu for each response after clicking Show Response from the Action Menu of the Transmittal.
For a review, the response is not mandatory. There are three possible scenarios:

The user has left the response blank and has not made any markups. In this case, the system permits the user to Skip Review and a document response of Not Reviewed is captured for that revision and user.

The user has left the response blank but made a markup on the file. In this case, the system will autocomplete the response with an entry of Refer to Markup. Note: Refer to Markup is not available to the user when completing the response manually.

The user has specified a response. In this case the response will be respected irrespective of any markups to the document revision.
For consolidation, the response is mandatory. Either Reviewed or Revise and Resubmit can be specified.
