Reporting on Contract to Subsystem to Document Redlines
A document may belong to multiple contracts and contain multiple subsystems. The combinations defined by engineering and commissioning determine the values possible for a given document. In most instances this identification occurs through a tag but for others it will be identified directly from the document or through the document’s related model.
The redline report uses this baseline to determine all contract-to-subsystem-to-document combinations that have been established by engineering and commissioning. To the baseline, any redlines with matching contract, subsystem, document combinations are reported along with their status. This report illustrates the submitted (and not submitted) for a given contract/subsystem. It is important to note, however, that Redline No-Change will show up as Not Submitted until the index of Redline No-Change has been processed. The first path above implies that the MDC has been related to the published model. Proper procedures should be in place to ensure this occurs.
