Pinboard and New Items Lists
Pinboard
The Pinboard is an area where items can be referenced for future use. Unlike in previous versions of SPF, Pinboard items (except for New Items) will persist between SPF sessions. You can use the Pinboard to keep a reference to various objects but it is particularly useful when building relationships through the Relationship Builder. Objects in the Pinboard can be grouped into different lists, such as:

Modifying lists
1. Select Pins from the left-hand menu
2. Select the Pinboard tab from within Pins
3. From Pinboard, click the dropdown of available lists
4. Click the Modify List button.
From within the Modify Pins Lists menu, you can optionally:
1. Add a new list.
2. Delete an existing list.
3. Modify the name of an existing list.
Pinning objects
You can pin objects to the last used list from the quick action commands that appear when you hover over objects in your dataset.
Using the Action Menu, you can choose the list to which to pin one or more objects.
Moving objects between lists
1. Select Pins from the left-hand menu.
2. Select the Pinboard tab from within the Pins menu.
3. With one or more pinned items selected, choose Move or copy selected pins.
4. Choose either to create a new list or click one of the existing lists to which the pinned objects should be moved.
5. Use the Retain pins in current list selection box to copy rather than move the objects.
View in Grid
At any point you can use the View in Grid command to open a list in the main section of SPF.
Note: The columns for this view have not been configured yet.
New Items
New Items is an area containing a list of all items created during the current session, e.g., documents, transmittals, technical queries, tags, etc.
You can access the New Items list by selecting the Pins icon, which is always visible on the left side of the screen, and then selecting the New Items tab on the top of the panel:
Like Pinboard, New Items can be listed in the main section at any point by clicking the View in Grid button:
The New Items list is cleared when you log out of SPF.
