Generating Documents with Markups

Within View and Markup, a pdf of a document with markup layers can be generated by using the publish to PDF or TIFF commands. Refer to Print (Publish) Markups to PDF or TIFF.

Generating Documents with Markups in Bulk

The functionality can be performed in bulk:

1. Find a set of documents

2. Use the action menu Files/Render PDFs w/ Markups

3. Wait

a. The server is rendering the files

b. The system provides a brief response when complete, but the notification may go unnoticed

c. If in doubt, wait a few minutes before executing step 4

4. Click the Action Menu and Use the Files/Save PDF Renditions… command

5. The generated PDF files will Burn-in current markups and Append Changemark notes.

a. To use other options, you will need to perform the operation from within View and Markup for the specific document

Note:

HBJV can perform this function at any point during the life cycle of the document while third parties can only perform this function on the consolidation layer and reviews performed by their own organization.
